Outlook exchange stuck updating inbox
For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Pst-files, unless you are using an Exchange or Hotmail account, Outlook cannot live without them.MTU was set to 1514 on the Exchange server rather than the typical 1500.

The one workaround that somewhat strangely works consistently is logging out of the users Windows profile, logging in to another profile, opening Outlook (which works fine), then logging back into the original user's profile.
Things work well for a number of days or weeks but the problem reoccurs eventually.
About 10 people out of 1000 had this happen, however they were users that had rights to other mailboxes and had them mounted in Outlook.
They aren't the only ones that had it, but none of the "simple" accounts had any problems, only the ones with several mailboxes/calendars.
I can see about 23K mails when I check the synchronization through the inbox properties.
